Update
I have gotten a lot of advice from my last post. Unfortunately I have been having trouble logging onto it. First off I want wish my youngest a VERY Happy Birthday, she turned 13 yesterday.
Now for the update. I am still trying to raise money for Yale summer school, she got a partial scholarship that pays 1/4 of the tuition. May mom payed for her plane tickets. My boyfriend is going downtown to sing every night to earn her spending money. The rest of tuition is the only thing i’m worried about.
Now my ex. He met with a bankruptcy lawyer but didn’t have the money to pay him. He was going to sale his truck and needed me to sign the title, but that was 2 weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything since. I refuse to let him pull me down to his level. My boyfriend wouldn’t let me break up with him. He said that he can protect himself if my ex went after him.
I called my lawyer and a bankruptcy lawyer. Found out that there is nothing I could do until he actually files for bankruptcy. Other than that I have been doing every thing right. In October when we go back to court on the contempt charge, he will definitely spend some time in jail. Right now its about 9 days.
I can’t do anything about my credit score right now except pay all my bills on time and do what i had been doing before he caused this mess in the first place. He refuses to help me in any way. After all according to him things would be just fine if I wouldn’t have divorced him. He still can’t accept responsibility for any of his actions.
He still doesn’t even try to make ammends with his older. Instead he blames her and says she is immature. He very rarely talks to his youngest, but since she turned 13 she has a facebook page now and he talks to her through that. Better than nothing. For her birthday he is going to give her an animal on this farm town game. Can’t even spend real money on his daughter.
Lucky for my girls they have me to rely on. I do the best I can, that’s all I really can do.
